This Privacy Policy applies to Success Masters Academy ("we", "us", "our") and covers all data collected through our Website at successmastersacademy.in, all Tools, Premium Guides, Reports, and any other Services we offer.

This policy is drafted in compliance with the Information Technology Act, 2000, the Information Technology (Reasonable Security Practices and Procedures and Sensitive Personal Data or Information) Rules, 2011, and, to the extent applicable, general principles of data privacy.

2.1 Information you provide directly

• Tool responses: Your answers or inputs to any Tool (including assessments, quizzes, and aptitude instruments) on the Website. These are used solely to calculate and display your result for that Tool.
• Registration and account information: Your name, class, school name, email address, and phone number are collected at the time of mandatory account registration. This information is required to create and maintain your account and to associate your Assessment result with your profile.
• Payment information: We do not collect or store your payment card or bank details directly. Payment processing is handled by Razorpay or other authorised processors who maintain their own privacy policies.

2.2 Information collected automatically

• Session data: The Assessment uses your browser's sessionStorage to save progress locally on your device. This data is never transmitted to our servers and is automatically cleared when you close your browser.
• Analytics data (local only): The Assessment collects anonymous usage data — including which section you reached, how long you spent, and your result type — in your browser's localStorage. This data remains on your device and is used only to improve the assessment experience. It is not transmitted to us unless you explicitly use the export function.
• Server logs: Our hosting provider may automatically collect standard server log data including your IP address, browser type, pages visited, and timestamps. This is standard practice and is used for security and performance monitoring.
• Cookies: We use only essential, functional cookies necessary to operate the Website. We do not use tracking cookies or behavioural advertising cookies. We do not use Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, or similar third-party tracking tools on the assessment page.

We use the information we collect for the following purposes:

• To deliver the Services: Processing your Tool responses to generate results and recommendations; providing access to purchased Premium Guides and Reports.
• To provide paid content: Processing payment and delivering Digital Products you have purchased.
• To communicate with you: Responding to enquiries, support requests, purchase confirmations, or feedback you send us.
• To improve our products: Using anonymised, aggregated data from Tools to refine question quality, scoring thresholds, and content recommendations over time. Guide content may be revised based on aggregated user feedback.
• For legal compliance: Maintaining records required by law and responding to lawful requests from authorities.
• For institutional reporting: If your school or coaching institute has purchased a group licence, providing the institution with aggregated, anonymised analytics (not individual results) as agreed in the contract.

We do not use your assessment responses or personal data for:

• Targeted advertising or remarketing.
• Selling your data to third parties.
• Training external AI models.
• Any purpose not described in this policy.

We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under the age of 13 without verifiable parental consent. If we become aware that we have inadvertently collected personal information from a child under 13 without parental consent, we will take prompt steps to delete that information.

Students between 13 and 18 should use any Tool and access any Premium Guide with the knowledge and, ideally, the involvement of a parent or guardian. Parents and guardians may contact us at any time to review, correct, or request deletion of their child's information.

For institutional users (schools and coaching institutes), we require that the institution obtain appropriate student and parental consent before deploying any Tool or distributing any Guide at scale.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We share information only in the following limited circumstances:

• Payment processors: Razorpay or other payment gateways receive transaction data necessary to process your payment. They are bound by their own privacy policies and applicable laws.
• Hosting and infrastructure: Our hosting provider processes data on our behalf under a data processing agreement. They do not use your data for their own purposes.
• Legal obligations: We may disclose information if required by law, court order, or government authority, or if we believe disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, your safety, or the safety of others.
• Business transfer: If Success Masters Academy is acquired, merged with, or its assets transferred to another entity, user data may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify users of any such change and your rights under this policy will continue to apply.

Tool response data generated during use of any Tool is stored in your browser's sessionStorage (cleared when you close the tab) and localStorage (anonymous analytics, stored on your device). This data is not stored on our servers beyond what is minimally necessary to deliver the Service you paid for.

Contact and payment records we hold on our servers are retained for as long as necessary to fulfil the purpose for which they were collected, or as required by applicable tax, legal, and accounting obligations (typically 7 years for financial records under Indian law).

Security measures we employ include:

• HTTPS encryption for all data transmitted between your device and our servers.
• No storage of raw assessment responses on our servers beyond what is minimally necessary.
• Access controls limiting who within our team can access any personal data.
• Regular review of our security practices.

No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure. While we take reasonable precautions, we cannot guarantee absolute security.

You have the following rights with respect to your personal information that we hold:

• Right to access: You may request a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
• Right to correction: You may request correction of inaccurate information.
• Right to deletion: You may request deletion of your personal information, subject to legal retention obligations.
• Right to object: You may object to certain uses of your information, including direct marketing.
• Right to withdraw consent: Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw it at any time without affecting the lawfulness of prior processing.

Our Website uses the following browser storage mechanisms:

• sessionStorage: Used to save your Assessment progress so you can complete it across pages without losing answers. Cleared automatically when you close your browser tab. Not transmitted to us.
• localStorage: Used to store anonymous usage analytics (section completion, result type, time taken) to help us improve the tool. Accessible only from your device. Cleared if you use the "Clear Data" function in the tool or clear your browser data.
• Essential cookies: Minimal cookies required for basic website functionality such as HTTPS session security. No tracking, advertising, or analytics cookies are set by default.

You may configure your browser to refuse cookies or clear them at any time. Doing so will not prevent you from taking the Assessment but may affect some website features.

Our Website may contain links to external websites such as exam board websites, college portals, or career resources. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of those websites. We encourage you to read the privacy policy of any website you visit.

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last Updated" date. If changes are significant, we will make reasonable efforts to notify you (for example, by a notice on the Website). Continued use of the Services after the updated policy is posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.

• All Premium Guides, workbooks, counsellor manuals, preparation guides, career roadmaps, and any other educational documents created and published by Success Masters Academy.

• All Report templates and personalised Report outputs.
• All website design, layout, graphics, colour schemes, user interface elements, and visual branding.

Subject to these Terms, you are permitted to:

• Use any Tool you have paid for and access its results for your personal, non-commercial use.
• Download, print, and retain a personal copy of any Premium Guide or Report you have purchased, for your own personal reference only.
• Share a link to the Website or individual product pages with students, parents, colleagues, or friends for informational purposes.
• Career counsellors and educators who have purchased institutional access may use Reports and Premium Guides within their professional counselling practice with individual clients, subject to the terms of their institutional licence.

• Reproducing, copying, or duplicating any Tool's questions, scoring logic, or the content of any Premium Guide, or any substantial portion of the Website Content without written permission.
• Creating a competing product — whether a tool, guide, workbook, or other educational material — that incorporates, adapts, or is substantially derived from our questions, methodology, content, or descriptions.
• Distributing, reselling, or commercially exploiting any Tool, Premium Guide, Report, or other Digital Product without a written licence agreement.
• Sharing purchased Premium Guides or Reports with individuals who have not paid for them, whether through direct file transfer, posting online, or any other means.
• Removing, obscuring, or altering any copyright notice, trademark, or other proprietary notice from any Content or Digital Product.
• Using our brand names, logos, or marks in a way that implies endorsement or affiliation without our written permission.
• Scraping, harvesting, or systematically extracting Content from the Website using automated means.

The Career Discovery Assessment is an original work developed by Success Masters Academy. It is not an official Myers-Briggs Type Indicator® (MBTI®) assessment and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected with The Myers-Briggs Company, CPP Inc., or any official MBTI® publisher.

The personality typology framework used is independently developed, drawing on the publicly available foundational concepts of Jungian personality theory and the four-dichotomy model, which are not themselves proprietary. The specific questions, weighting methodology, Indian exam mapping, booster scoring system, A/T identity axis, acquiescence detection logic, and all textual content are original works of Success Masters Academy.

Specific disclaimers regarding the nature and limitations of our Tools and Guides:

• Self-report limitation: All Tools rely on self-reported responses. Results can be affected by the respondent's mood, level of self-awareness, social desirability bias, or misinterpretation of questions.
• Point-in-time measurement: Tool results reflect self-perception at the moment of completion and may change over time, especially during adolescence. Premium Guide content reflects information available at the time of publication and may become outdated as exam patterns, college information, and career landscapes evolve.
• Not a measure of ability: Psychometric Tools do not measure intelligence, academic aptitude, cognitive ability, or any fixed capacity. They measure self-reported preferences and inclinations only.
• Exam and career band limitations: Any exam readiness or career alignment indicators in our Tools reflect profile alignment, not predicted exam scores, subject knowledge, or preparation readiness.
• No guarantee of outcomes: Success Masters Academy makes no representation that using any Tool or following any recommendation in any Guide or Report will lead to any specific academic result, exam score, career outcome, admission, or personal achievement.
• Professional consultation required: Major academic decisions — including stream selection, entrance exam choices, and career planning — should be made in consultation with qualified teachers, school counsellors, and parents. Our Tools and Guides are supplementary resources, not replacements for professional guidance.
• Guide currency: Information in Premium Guides relating to specific exams, colleges, scholarships, government schemes, or career statistics is accurate at the time of publication. Users must independently verify all such information before acting on it.

While we make every effort to ensure the accuracy, currency, and quality of the Content on this Website, we make no representations or warranties of any kind, express or implied, as to:
